MAI Benefits - Holiday and Vacation Leave

Leave Programs

Annual Leave
MAI offers a generous leave program. Employees earn 16 days of leave per year, increasing to 22 days after five years and 28 days after 10 years of employment. Leave may be carried over from year to year.

Bonus Week of Leave
MAI recognizes dedicated employees. Employees are given a bonus week of leave after 10 years of employment, and every ten years thereafter.

Holidays
Employees receive eight paid holidays during the year.

Hospitalization Leave
Hospitalization Leave may be used when an employee is hospitalized overnight. Employees will earn up to five days of hospitalization leave per year up to a maximum of 20 days.
