Project Profile: Health Resources and Services Administration Post Competition Support
MAI developed and implemented Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) for three Streamlined Circular A-76 competitions completed by the Health Resource and Services Administration (HRSA) in 2003. Under a five-year follow-on contract, MAI has executed a program of semi-annual inspections, workload and cost data collection, and compliance reporting as required to meet both the OMB Circular A-76 requirements for post-competition monitoring and the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) program. MAI developed automated tools for the collection of workload, staffing, and cost data from the in-house MEO organization at six month intervals.
MAI continues to serve as the official Quality Assurance Evaluator for three other Health and Human Services (HHS) organizations with both successful MEOs and other in-house Service Providers. MAI also performs Post-Competition Accountability Reviews for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Program Support Center (PSC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
