Project Profile: Internal Revenue Service Campus Center Operations

MAI conducted a Standard OMB Circular A-76 competition of the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Campus Center Operations, Information Technology and Print Plant Operations. The competition included 376 FTEs at 10 locations nationwide. The functions studied included file transmission, printing operations, data processing support, and magnetic media management.

MAI performed market research analysis to research best practices for similar activities at other agencies and in the private sector. MAI analyzed the current operations for the Campus Center to identify similarities and differences of each operational site. MAI developed a Performance Work Statement (PWS) that clearly identified requirements to ensure both the IRS and customers would be fully satisfied in a timely, cost-effective manner.
