Competitive Sourcing (A-76)

OMB Circular A-76 is the Federal Government's policy directive concerning performance of commercial activities, and provides guidance and procedures for determining whether recurring commercial activities should be performed under contract with commercial sources or in-house using Government facilities and personnel. While MAI is also a leader in the field of privatization analysis and planning, Competitive Sourcing is not "privatization." Competitive Sourcing is one of the President's strategic management processes for reorganizing and re-tooling the Federal Government's execution of functions in support of all tax-payers.

In addition to providing competitive sourcing support in the areas listed below, MAI provides comprehensive Streamlined and Standard Competition support and has developed specialized training programs for all aspects of the A-76 process.
