Performance Work Statement
The Performance Work Statement (PWS) documents the technical, functional, and performance characteristics of the work to be performed. The PWS also identifies the essential functions and locations, quantity of work, and the quality and timeliness standards. The PWS serves as a scope of work, and is the basis for both the Agency and Private Sector Cost Estimates.
MAI is able to provide support in all areas of PWS development including:
- Organizational Review. Review the current functional organization, services, locations, customers, and interfaces. Identify and document work inputs and outputs and performance requirements.
- Directive Analysis. Review applicable directives and regulations controlling the work functions under study.
- Workload Analysis. Determine and document how frequently a service or output is to be provided during the proposed performance period.
- PWS and Solicitation Development. Develop draft and final PWS documents and solicitations for review, comment, and approval.
