Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
The Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) specifies how the Government will monitor and measure the performance of the Service Provider against the requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Following a competition, the Agency retains the right to inspect all services.
MAI is able to provide support in all areas of QASP development including:
- Tasks and Requirements. Summarize task requirements to be performed by the Service Provider as defined in the PWS.
- Acceptable Quality Level (AQL).
- Define the number or percentage of defects acceptable for each PWS requirement.
- Surveillance Methods. Determine the method(s) of surveillance to be used to evaluate the Service Provider’s performance.
- Payment Deductions. Determine the percentage of contract effort associated with each individual performance indicator.
- Evaluation Procedures. Establish guidelines, forms, and procedures to help the Contracting Officer schedule inspections, evaluate work, and document results.
- Analysis of Results. Assist the Contracting Officer in reviewing results and determining whether the Service Provider’s performance was acceptable.
